When we're talking about technologies the future classroom is the most advanced area in my school.
It is equipped with:
- lightweight tables and chairs for a quick change of the space;
- 30 Tablets;
- a touch board - ActivBoard;
- a multitouch panel- ActivPanel;
- an interactive touch table for up to 6 students - ActivTable;
- a pen without batteries and wires - ActivPen;
- an overhead projector that gives life to real objects in the ActivBoard - ActiView;
- a mini-board without wires, allowing flexibility of movement in the classroom - ActivSlate.
Aurasma is a software with the power to transform anything printed in real multimedia.
It is a technology for iPhones, Androids and tablets and is able to not only recognize objects but also improve them.
To recognize objects, Aurasma replaces them with videos, transforming real objects in virtual and animated ones and interacting with real things.
In my school teachers use the ActivExpression commands to carry out evaluation tests and some worksheets in ActivInspire program.
These commands are more advanced than the ActiVote, because they have a keypad to answer the questions where writing is necessary.
The ActiVote commands are simpler, with egg shape, that only allow students to answer multiple choice or true and false questions.
ActivEngage is a response virtual system that allows students to participate in class and answer questions.
This application provides teachers information in real time on the progress and understanding of the students.
It also has a small storeroom, where we find a tablet cupboard (where all the tablets are loaded), about six computers and two lockers where the Magalhães computers and ActivExpression commands are. There is also a 3D printer.
